Granite is the most common plutonic rock of the Earth’s crust, forming by cooling magma at the depth, because of its use as paving block and as a building stone, the quarrying of granite was, at one time, a major industrial activity.
It is a lot denser than marble which makes it very suitable for worktops, but as it is natural TLC is still required. As the same as Marble because it is natural no two worktop, countertop, bathroom, etc. will ever look the same.
